Photobyben Recruit *Photographer Assistant

Photobyben is a young, creative and friendly team providing Wedding Photography service. Now we are hiring a Photographer Assistant (not Assistant Photographer to be clear). The right person (or people?) will be trained by Ben Tang himself to be part of our new team Superb! as a Photographer (again, not Assistant Photographer!!) It may take a very long time, or maybe a little bit shorter, everything depends on yourself! But we do not believe in any shortcuts to be successful.

Duties

 Just a kind reminder here, do not expect an easy job as Ben is more than prepared to give a harsh training time to the right person/people. If you can't even manage to keep a studio clean, how can you work hard in it? So the right person/people will be also assisting Ben and his team comprehensively:

- Make tea & coffee, order food delivery is a MUST
- Empty trash and clean up the studio everyday is a MUST
- Photo Retouch
- Assisting in lighting
- And more...

Requirements

- Passionate in Photography
- Great in Communication
- Strong Sense in Graphic Composition, Lighting, etc.
- Knowledge in MAC Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- Willing to Learn and Explore
- Tough, Aggressive with a Pleasant/Honest Personality
- Willing to Work Overtime

Photobyben *WPJA Q2 2011 Contest

很開心這張相得到了WPJA第二季比賽「Silhouettes and Shadows」類別的第3rd名。其實比賽差不多截止報名的時候，剛巧我們不在香港，而隨身的USB手指只有幾張相，所以最後只選了一張參賽，就是這樣，這張相成為了「The One」。:)

We are so delighted that this photo had won the 3rd place from the WPJA Q2 2011 Contest. We were out of town when it was almost the deadline for this contest, and there were only a few photos on our portable USB stick. We've chosen only 1 photo to enter the contest and it'd became "The One". :)

Photobyben聖誕送大禮 之 一對一Workshop

聖誕將至，Photobyben會以比賽形式，送出一對 一Workshop做聖誕禮物。名頞只有一個。

參加辦法：

以「聖誕節」為主題拍攝一張相片。內容沒有限制，可以是人像、風景或物件。相片連同姓名、聯絡電話及電郵地址電郵到photobybencompetition@gmail.com。電郵主題請寫明「Photobyben聖誕送大禮比賽」。

相片格式：

72dpi，不超過1mb的RGB Jpeg。較長的一邊規定為864pixel。

截止日期：

2010年12月31日晚上11:59分

評審方式：

所有參賽相片會被上載至Photobyben Facebook Page，公眾投票。
截至2011年1月30日晚上11:59分最多人Like的一張相片為之勝出。

勝出者會得到與Ben Tang一日單對單Workshop。

8th Place - Judges Comment: Such beauty and passion as both lovers and environment meld together in replicating shape as though the entire scene was caught in their embrace.

16th Place - Judges Comment: It’s not often that a photographer gets an opportunity like this with a rainbow crossing a beautiful sky, a bride in a beautiful dress, a deserted road crossing a prairie and all of it occurring during the magic light prior to sunset. Fortunately the photographer met the opportunity with the blessings of a well composed photo.
